Situations Vacant

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) invites applications from Pakistani nationals for the following positions:

Assistant Director (MCO) (BS-17)
- Qualification: Master’s Degree or 16 years of education in Social Sciences, Mass Communication/Media Sciences, or related fields from an HEC-recognized institution.
- Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience.
- Age Limit: Maximum 35 years (including general age relaxation).
Creative Writers with English/Urdu Typing Skills (BS-14)
- Qualification: Minimum Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication/Advertising or relevant social sciences with research skills.
- Experience: Two years of experience in digital/social media content writing, blogging, concept/script writing for documentaries, and report writing. Proficiency in MS Word and InPage is required.
- Preference: Bilingual (English and Urdu).
- Age Limit: Maximum 32 years.

Assistant Director (MCO)
- Punjab: 2 positions
- Sindh: 1 position
- Balochistan: 1 position
- Liable to serve anywhere in Pakistan.
Creative Writers
- Open Merit: 1 position
- Liable to serve anywhere in Pakistan.

- Apply through ECP's Online Recruitment System at www.ecp.gov.pk or jobs.ecp.gov.pk within 20 days of the advertisement's publication.
- A hard copy of the application must also be submitted. Applications without a hard copy will be considered ineligible.
Submission Details:
- Send the hard copy of the application, CV, and relevant documents (educational certificates, experience certificates, CNIC, and a recent passport-sized photograph) to P.O. Box No. 1418, GPO, Islamabad.
- The envelope must clearly mention the position applied for.
Deadline: Applications must reach P.O. Box No. 1418, GPO, Islamabad within 25 days of the advertisement’s publication.
Additional Information:
- No TA/DA will be provided for tests/interviews.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
- The ECP reserves the right to cancel or alter the recruitment process without assigning reasons.
- Age relaxation will be given as per Initial Appointment to Civil Posts (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 1993.
Test/Interview Stations: Subject to the number of candidates, stations will be decided. Candidates must be willing to serve anywhere in Pakistan.
