VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Islamabad, is seeking qualified, energetic, and motivated individuals for the following project-based positions. These appointments are on a contract basis and are governed by the Scale Policy:

Available Positions:

Deputy Director (IT)
- Scale: PPS-08
- Number of Posts: 01
- Qualification: 1st Class or Grade 'B' Master’s degree in Computer Science/BCS (04 years) or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years, with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in IT/Project management, ICT, LAN, web, or software.
- Age Limit: 40-45 years
Technical Assistant
- Scale: PPS-06
- Number of Posts: 01
- Qualification: 2nd Class or Grade 'C' Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science/Commerce/Arts/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in design, installation, and maintenance of LAN/WAN.
- Age Limit: 18-25 years
IT Assistant
- Scale: PPS-05
- Number of Posts: 02
- Qualification: 2nd Class or Grade 'C' Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science recognized by HEC or a 2nd Class Bachelor’s degree with a one-year diploma in IT from a recognized board.
- Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Age Limit: 18-25 years
Data Entry Operator
- Scale: PPS-05
- Number of Posts: 01
- Qualification: 2nd Class or Grade 'C' Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Statistics/Mathematics/Physics from a HEC-recognized university.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience. Minimum typing speed of 10,000 key depressions per hour for data entry/verification.
- Age Limit: 18-25 years
Lower Division Clerk
- Scale: PPS-04
- Number of Posts: 01
- Qualification: Intermediate (2nd Division) with a 3-week Basic IT Training Course (including MS Office) conducted by NITB.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience.
- Age Limit: 18-25 years
Dispatch Rider
- Scale: PPS-01
- Number of Posts: 01
- Qualification: Primary Pass with a valid driving license and knowledge of traffic rules.
- Age Limit: 18-30 years
