Eligibility: Candidates must meet HEC criteria. Shortlisting and scrutiny will follow AIOU services statutes 1978 and recruitment policy.
Age Relaxation: Maximum age limits are subject to relaxation as per the Relaxation of Upper Age Limit Rules, 1993.
Application Process: Apply online via AIOU Job Portal careers.aiou.edu.pk.
Previous Applicants: Candidates who applied in June 2022 need not apply again.
Proper Channel: Current employees (regular/acting charge/contract) must apply through proper channels and submit NOC and service certificates.
Incomplete Applications: Claims made after submission will not be accepted.
Right to Amend: AIOU reserves the right to adjust the number of posts or withhold appointments without explanation.
Submission Requirements:
- For Professors and Associate Professors: Online application followed by hard copies (4 sets in binding form and 1 soft copy in PDF) with academic documents, research articles, and relevant testimonials.
- Processing Fee: BPS-18: Rs. 1500, BPS-19: Rs. 2000, BPS-20 & BPS-21: Rs. 5000. Download Challan Form from the AIOU Job Portal.
No TA/DA: No travel or daily allowance will be provided.
Deadline: Applications must be received by 30-10-2024.
